The Riftbreaker PC Game is a video game combining strategy and survival with action role-playing aspects. The player takes control of a scientist who has been outfitted with a unique elite mech suit that allows him to move between dimensions. In addition to annihilating foes like in a hack-and-slash game, you can build your own base and harvest resources like in a traditional strategy and resource-gathering game.
You’ll take on the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak, an exceptional scientist and soldier with a powerful mech suit known as the Riftbreaker. She travels through a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a faraway planet on the other side of the Milky Way, to construct a base that will allow her to return to Earth and eventually colonize it. Ashley’s mech suit, dubbed “Mr. Riggs,” can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and is outfitted with a variety of tools for base construction, resource extraction, specimen collection, and, of course, combat; it can also travel through portals that span vast distances.
Your mission is to create a portal to and from Earth. It’s a rather intricate technology, thus tremendous amounts of energy will be required: a few solar panels and a few tons of steel will not suffice. To fulfill your mission, you’ll need to establish a complicated network of mines, refineries, power plants, and research facilities.
